Aspires for the LokaLTE Portal's development

Digital divide is one of the biggest issues in the Philippines, where as many people are still not connected to the internet by any means. They have been isolated from the world due to the lack of infrastructures for connectivity such as cellular networks, Digital Subscriber Line, nor fiber optic internet connections. In 2019 the pandemic of the disease COVID-19 due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus shook the world into multiple lockdowns and further increase the isolation of people from the outside to prevent the contraction of the said viral infection. Schools are forced to stop for a considerable time, until online learning and modular learning starts.
